Ralston’s Crossing Event Center FAQ’s

Q. Where are you located? A. Ralston’s Crossing Event Center is located at 7400 Indiana St, Arvada, Colorado in a 1910 brick chapel, the last remaining building in the town of Ralston’s Crossing. The address is 7400 Indiana Street, Arvada. The building sits on 1.5 acres of land, all to be utilized during events. The property backs up to around 40 acres at the Arvada Equestrian Park. Q. What comes with our booking? A. The entire facility is available for your use during an event. This includes the historic 1910 chapel, the spacious outdoor pavilion, outdoor grounds (garden trellis, waterfall, gazebo, fire pit and several patio areas) and the parking lot. On weekends, a booking includes 9 total hours of event time,. This includes a suggested two hours for  set-up and suggested one hour of clean-up time. On weekdays, a booking includes 8 total hours of event time. We provide tables and chairs as well, in the chapel or the pavilion, or both. We have 22-60-inch round tables (5 feet) that seat 8 to 10 people. The suggested tablecloth size for these is 120 inches. We also have one 40-inch round table, eight 6-foot rectangle tables and six 8-foot rectangle tables. Q. How many people will the property hold? A. We can accommodate up to 180 guests comfortably. The maximum number of people the chapel can hold for a ceremony is one hundred and thirty-five (135). If your numbers are at 135 or less, you have either the chapel or the grounds for a ceremony location. For weddings larger than 135 guests, we have multiple locations outdoors for a ceremony, or the pavilion can be used. The parking lots accommodates approximately 75 vehicles. Q. Can we have an outside event? A. Yes! Our 1.5 acres includes an outdoor pavilion, a fire-pit, cobblestone walkways, a garden trellis and several patio areas. The grounds were designed to be unique and versatile, letting the event host choose where the event will be located. Q. How do I know my event is booked? A. Your date is reserved when Ralston’s Crossing Event Center receives a signed copy of the contract and the $1,000 deposit. Q. Can you help us find vendors for our event? A. Yes! We have a list of preferred vendors on our website. Q. Can I bring my own food to my event instead of hiring a caterer? A. Only for very small events. We allow self-catering in events with 60 guests or less. Please contact a representative of Ralston's Crossing Event Center for details, at 303-425-1792. Please note that food must be prepared elsewhere, as there is not kitchen available. Q. Do you handle corporate events? A. Absolutely! Q. Can I take a tour? A. Yes! Please call Ralston’s Crossing Event Center at 303-425-1792 to schedule a tour. Q. Are you located close to accommodations for out-of-town guests? A. Yes! We are located between Interlocken and Denver West, each with several lovely hotels. Please call for more specific details. Q. Can we book our event on a holiday? A. Yes, on most holidays. We are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving and Easter. Q. Does Ralston’s Crossing Event Center have pretty backgrounds for event photos? A. Yes! The church building also houses Randall’s Photography, a business that has been at this location for 15 years. The renovations were all designed by our owner/photographer, Randy Miller, so that there are “photo ops” with lovely lighting, available all over the grounds.
